The three-year deal spans 11 marquee races, bringing elite compression to over 150,000 runners annually
Huntington Beach, CA – May 22, 2025 – Performance brand 2XU and event organizer Motiv Sports today announce a new three-year partnership, bringing together two organisations united by a shared belief in movement, community, and the transformative power of performance.
Commencing with the 2025 season, 2XU will become the Exclusive Compression Technology Partner across Motiv’s premier portfolio of races, including the Long Beach Marathon and Half Marathon, Bay to Breakers 12K Powered By Windsurf and the Vancouver Sun Run. This partnership will connect 2XU with over 150,000 participants annually, creating meaningful brand moments across some of North America’s most iconic start lines.

As part of the partnership, athletes will have the exclusive opportunity to purchase the “2XU Long Run Tee” during event registration. Designed for race day and every day after, the Long Run Tee offers superior comfort, performance, and longevity, making it a more sustainable choice than traditional giveaway shirts. Built to go the distance, it’s a tee meant for the long run, in every sense.
Onsite and online, 2XU will also provide education around the benefits of compression and showcase its full performance range, with a focused lens on running. From expo activations to integrated campaigns, the brand will support runners with gear and guidance at every touchpoint.
